As part of National Pain Awareness Week, the Ottawa Pain Physician Network is pleased to invite you to attend our 6th Annual Pain Management Education Day.  We have chosen the theme for this year to be,

2017 UPDATE

We are excited to have put together a comprehensive educational session with presentations from several Nationally Recognized Pain Physicians.

This educational event is designed for physicians, nurses and allied health care professionals, with the objective of increasing your confidence and skills in pain management while helping you navigate available pain management resources.

This Group Learning Program has been approved by the College of Family Physicians of Canada, Ontario Office for up to 5 Mainpro+ Certified Credits.

EXPLORING AN ON-DEMAND MENTORSHIP PROGRAM THAT SUPPORTS PRIMARY CARE
MANAGEMENT OF CHRONIC PAIN AND ADDICTIONS

CHRONIC PAIN: ABSENCE OF EVIDENCE IS NOT EVIDENCE OF PSYCHOPATHOLOGY

  1. Understand the links between the physiology and psychology of pain symptoms—some of which may present as quite unusual.
  2. Learn that the presentation of these unusual symptoms—medically-unexplained pain—is not caused by psychopathology.

COMBINATION PHARMACOTHERAPY FOR PAIN: PRE-CLINICAL AND CLINICAL PERSPECTIVES

MYOFASCIAL PAIN AND AN INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH FOR CHRONIC PAIN MANAGEMENT
